The Loft provides open and affirming youth groups for all LGBTQ+ teens and their friends.
• Waterbury Youth Services - LGBTQ+ Support and Social Group
The purpose of the group is to give LGBTQ-identified and questioning youth a safe place to discuss topics they feel are relevant to their experiences and identities. For more information about meeting dates and times please call Waterbury Youth Services at (203) 573-0264 and ask to speak with someone about the LGBTQ group.
• Transgender/Gender Questioning Youth Forum
Second and Final Sunday of each month, 3-4:30PM, 618 West Ave, Norwalk 06850
This program is for teens and young adults up to age 22 to share their voice with their peers in an open and affirming environment. Facilitated by LCSW Micaela Scully, this program is for those who identify as transgender, gender nonconforming, or gender questioning.
Campus Resources
Campus Pride is a resource for LGBTQ college students and college applicants that assesses campus inclusion and provides support to LGBTQ students.
GLSEN is a national organization that provides organizational tools and resources to sustain and encourage LGBTQ programming in schools.
UConn Spectrum organizes for LGBTQ rights on and off campus and seeks to foster inclusion on campus.
Mentorship Programs
In addition to providing scholarship opportunities, the Daniel Trust Foundation offers mentorships for high school juniors as they prepare for college and post-academic life.

Kids in Crisis provides 24-hour support to help children and families resolve conflict. Kids in Crisis offers two emergency shelters with comprehensive childcare, programming, and access to transportation, providing life-saving resources to those who need it most.
