JOIN US EVERY FIRST Friday FOR Intersect POC FROM 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Intersect is a program that provides space for queer, transgender, and gender non-conforming people of color to share their experiences and create ways to increase their visibility within the larger LGBTQ+ community. This program also acts as a support group for these individuals to share their feelings surrounding issues that specifically impact sexual and gender minorities of color with those that share similar experiences. Group members are encouraged to express these feelings through creative avenues such as music, writing, and storytelling. Intersect is a place where those that feel forgotten in the community can be seen, encouraged, and empowered.
